 The I BDS induction program of Indira Gandhi Institute of Dental Sciences, Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth, was conducted on 3 rd October 2018 between 11.30 AM to 1.00 PM at ground floor lecture hall, MGMCRI. The program commenced with IGIDS anthem. Dr R. Saravana Kumar, Principal, IGIDS, welcomed the gathering and enlightened the fresh candidates on their journey for the next five years as part of IGIDS family. The program was graced by Prof. Subhash Chandra Parija, Honourable Vice Chancellor, Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth and Prof. A. R. Srinivasan, Registrar, Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth. The traditional lamp lighting to signify the enlightenment of the souls with knowledge was done by the dignitaries, Principal, Vice Principal, IGIDS, General Manager (Admin) and I year BDS representatives. It was
followed by addressing of the gathering by Registrar, SBV. Dr A. Santha Devy, Vice-Principal (Student Affairs), presented the organogram of IGIDS that explained the various committees constituted in the Institution for smooth and effective functioning. After badging the new student council members, Honourable Vice Chancellor delivered the keynote address. Dr R. Sathyanarayanan, Vice-Principal (Administration) delivered the vote of thanks.
