 
Cleft and Craniofacial Board meeting which was held on 12th August 2014 was inaugurated by Prof. K.R.Sethuraman, Vice Chancellor,SBV. Welcome address was delivered by Prof. Saravanan, H.O.D, Department of Periodontics. Prof. K.R. Sethuraman, Vice Chancellor, SBV followed by unveiling of the craniofacial board after the inaugural address. Mission, Vision & Action about the cleft & craniofacial Board was highlighted by Prof.C.Ramesh, Vice Principal, H.O.D, Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Felicitation of the board members was done by Prof. Nanadakumar.A, H.O.D, Department of Orthodontics. Followed by vote of thanks by Dr.Vandana, Senior Lecturer,Department of Oral Medicine.Introduction about the speakers was done by Dr. Beena second year P.G, Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Guest lecture was given by Prof. Ananthanarayanan about Craniofacial Anomalies followed by Prof.Vivek Narayanan Principal of Priyadarshini Dental College about Orthognathic Surgeries and Distraction Osteogenisis.
