The course Is divided into 4 years of training and 1 year of Compulsory rotator internship. The students would be taught the basics of the following subjects.

    The following are the various specialties which are dealt during the course.

Dental materials: This department deals with material sciences that, throws light on various materials used in dentistry.

Dental anatomy & Oral histology: This department deals with the microscopic, macroscopic & morphological aspects of teeth and their associated structures, including tooth development.

Oral Pathology-Microbiology and Forensic Odontology: This department deals with the study and diagnosis of various diseases of the orofacial region, including ground sections, histopathological and immune-histo-chemical methods.

Public Health Dentistry: This department deals with the study of prevention of dental and oral diseases. It includes social outreach programs, including patients education and motivation towards oral hygiene.

Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry: This is an age defined specialty that provides comprehensive preventive, therapeutic oral health care for infants, children through adolescence including those with special.

Prosthodontics-crown and bridge, Aesthetic Dentistry and Oral Implantology: This department deals with the study of the replacement of missing tooth and associated structures by artificial substitutes.

Periodontology and Oral Implantology: This department deals with the study of supporting structures of the tooth and procedures to preventloss of teeth.

Conservative, Endodontics and Esthetic Dentistry: This department deals with the study of the restoration of tooth defects and caries and preservation of damaged teeth with root canal therapy. Separate well stocked libraries, seminar rooms, and demonstration rooms.

Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Oral Implantology: This department deals with the diagnosis and surgical management of maxillofacial trauma, infections, pathologies and cosmetic deformities of face. It bridges the medical and dental specialties.

Oral Medicine and Radiology: This department deals with the study of diagnosis of various disease; of the oral and facial region using clinical and radiographic method.

Orthodontics and Dentofacial orthopedics: This department deals with the study and correction of teeth & jaw related abnormalities that masks the function and facial appearance, both in adults and in children. Every department is provided with well equipped laboratories.
