 The program was inaugurated by Prof Carounanidy Usha, Dean, Faculty of Dentistry, IGIDS, SBV. The welcome address was delivered by Dr G S Prathima, Professor and Head, Department of Pedodontics, IGIDS and also delivered a lecture on fundamentals of lasers. Dr. Vidyaa Hari Iyer, the resource person, delivered a lecture on soft tissue lasers. There was a non didactic session after which the hard tissue lecture was continued. In the afternoon, demonstration and hands on session was conducted for both hard and soft tissue lasers. In the end, certificates were distributed to all the delegates by the resource person.
