 
In commemoration of International Day for persons with Disabilities, special children were mobilized from Daya Special School, Cuddalore, to Department of Paedodontics & Preventive Dentistry, IGIDS, SBV. Oral health education, screening and dental treatments were provided to the children. 17 special children were benefited from the program. Dr. Saravana Kumar, Principal, IGIDS, SBV, has been invited as chief guest to grace the program. The program started with a welcome speech by Dr. Sanguida, Reader, Department of Paedodontics & Preventive Dentistry, IGIDS. Dr. Eswari, Post Graduate student, Department of Paedodontics & Preventive Dentistry, delivered a lecture on ‘Oral Health Education’ to children and their parents. Screening was done to diagnose the oral diseases and treatment was provided to the children with disabilities. Dental kit along with gifts was distributed to all children by post graduate students and faculties.
