I completed my BDS at Mahatma Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Dental Sciences (MGPGI, A Govt. Institution, Puducherry) in 1997. I had worked as the Junior Resident in the Department of Oral Surgery, MGPGI, between 1999 - 2000. I pursued my MDS at Mahatma Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Dental Sciences between 2000 - 2003. I worked as a lecturer between 2003 and 2004 in the Department of OMFS at Narayana Dental College, Nellore. I worked as a senior resident in the Department of Plastic Surgery at JIPMER between 2004 and 2005. I joined as a lecturer at Indira Gandhi Institute of Dental Sciences, Puducherry, in 2005, promoted as Reader in 2006, continued as Reader till 2010 and joined as an Associate Professor at Adhiparasakthi Dental College in the Dept of OMFS. I was promoted as a professor in 2012 continued till 2014. I joined as a professor at Indira Gandhi Institute of Dental Sciences in the Department of Oral Surgery, took over as head in 2015, then promoted to Vice Principal in 2018. I have presented papers at various national & international conferences and organized state level specialty conferences and workshops. Post PG, I have published 30 articles in various national & international journals I also serve as a permanent member of our association AOMSI and an executive member at the state level (TN).

I have completed my undergraduate degree from Sri venkateswara dental college, Chennai in 2014. I have secured the Best outgoing student award for the year 2009 to 2014 in Sri Venkateswara dental college, Chennai. My masters degree in oral maxillofacial surgery was from Meenakshi Ammal Dental college, Chennai during the period of 2015 to 2018, where i have obtained two Gold medals for the subject Oral and Maxillofacial surgery and Basic Sciences. My passion was towards the field of cleft surgeries, so i enrolled myself to the fellowship programme in Meenakshi Cleft and Craniofacial centre for two years(2018 to 2020).
